The Port’s role as a vital part of San Antonio’s IT/cybersecurity community continues to grow.
Hawaii-based Dynamic Advancement has expanded its operations onto the large campus — offering an array of training and certification supporting the needs of a diverse group of cybersecurity and other IT clients in the public and private sector.
Founded in 2016, the firm develops innovative training programs to help technicians in organizations of all sizes keep current with ever-changing platforms and operating environments.
An authorized partner to top technology providers, Dynamic Advancement offers several options of vendor-authorized IT training, including high-demand competencies: Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA and VMware certifications.
Dynamic Advancement provides training that is either online or in person, either at the client’s location or the company’s classroom space at the Port.
On the cybersecurity front, the company provides courses, practice exams and certifications in numerous competencies, including : Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Information Security Manager (CISM), Project Management Professional (PMP) and A+ Certification for computer service technicians.
The firm’s strategic location near large cybersecurity headquarter operations at the Port allows it to work closely with its biggest customer: the U.S. Department of Defense, which has a large presence at the Port and surrounding areas.
“Opening newest location made a lot of sense for us, given the cybersecurity training we provide,” states Jordan Davis, Vice President of Dynamic Advancement. “We’re helping the 24th Air Force and others as we train and certify employees in IT and cybersecurity. And we are also here to serve the needs of many businesses in the region to help ensure that they are up-to-date in their digital capabilities and security.”
Within two months of its arrival this summer, Dynamic Advancement certified and trained over 200 professionals from its Port facility.
“We’re very pleased to see another one of our advanced technology customers succeed and grow here,” says Port President & CEO Roland Mower. “There are already several cybersecurity operations on our campus that employ over 1,000 talented people. Dynamic Advancement is a strategic player in our ongoing efforts to grow a comprehensive environment for advanced technologies to innovate, collaborate and serve their clients throughout the world.”
