Commercial + Industrial Facilities

VIEW AVAILABLE SPACE The Port spans 1,900 acres and 10 million square feet of facilities. We have existing buildings available and over 500 acres—all directly accessible by aircraft, rail or truck—to build customized options.

Our team helps support some of the largest and most innovative projects in the region. We’ve built hangars, advanced manufacturing workshops, warehouses, offices and transloading operations.

Truck, Rail, Air and Sea Transportation

The Port is a five-minute drive from the city’s downtown, as well as from major highways IH-10, IH-35 and IH-37. These roads connect us directly to the east and west U.S. coasts, the Gulf of Mexico (within less than 3 hours) and the U.S.-Mexico Border (also within less than 3 hours).

Our 350-acre East Kelly Railport is served directly by both Union Pacific and BNSF Railway trains. And our partner, Watco, builds and maintains tracks that reach directly to our customers’ manufacturing, warehousing and transloading operations.

Port customers also have access to an industrial airport at Kelly Field (SKF), offering the region’s longest runway and the ability to handle aircraft of any size. And with our partners at Port Corpus Christi, even the Gulf of Mexico is within easy reach from our front door.

Public Storage & Warehousing

View our 3PLs Port customers operate over one million square feet of public warehouse space that is accessible by truck, aircraft and rail for the movement and storage of inventory, supplies and equipment. We also have existing properties for lease to meet your logistics, office and other needs, as well as sites ranging from 5 to over 100 acres for custom-built facilities.

FOREIGN-TRADE ZONE

The entire Port site is designated a foreign-trade zone (FTZ #80-10). When activated, the designation allows manufacturers who do business internationally to eliminate or defer import/export duties while finished products and components remain in the zone. Also, The OpTech Group provides foreign-trade zone services at the Port on an as-needed basis.

Workforce

Port customers include some of the region’s premier short-term staffing and permanent placement firms. What’s more, we have a long-established relationship with Alamo Colleges, including the Alamo Academies and the Workforce Center of Excellence—helping prepare workers in advanced careers through nationally-renowned certificate and just-in-time programs.

International Access

Our customers and partners help businesses access international markets through the region’s only public foreign-trade zone (FTZ #80-10), on-site U.S. Customs and our collaboration with the ports of Laredo and Corpus Christi.

Our business development team also works closely with the city, chambers of commerce and industry groups—helping our customers make important regional, national and global connections to help their businesses grow.

Manufacturers can access 100 million U.S. and Mexican consumers within a two-day drive from Port San Antonio.

Corporate Services

Travelers arriving by private aircraft will find an uncongested airfield and full support through our fixed-base operator. Highways leading to Eagle Ford projects are within five minutes from the Port’s front door.
