36th Street Duct Bank Project

Port San Antonio plans to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a new electrical duct bank along SW 36th Street for relocation of overhead electric lines to underground ducts in preparation of the future vertiport of the Port San Antonio Consolidated Facility. The 36th Street Duct Bank consist of new duct bank infrastructure including the duct runs, manholes, and riser poles.

The Port is committed to providing contracting opportunities to all businesses including local and small, minority, women and veteran owned business.  We recommend that vendors register with the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA).  Once registered, businesses are connected to more bid opportunities with other members of the SCTRCA organization.

Procurement Process

Port San Antonio is a defense base development authority established by the City of San Antonio as authorized under Texas Law. The Port is a separate political subdivision of the State.

The Port may utilize various procurement transactions that are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and that may be allowable by any applicable funding sources.
