Port San Antonio plans to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for qualified firms/teams to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide On-Call Street and Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements for Port San Antonio. Contractors are to conduct necessary construction, repairs and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, and related signage.

Request for Proposals - B331 Fluid Applied Reinforced Roofing System Project


Bid Due

The Port plans to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking responses from qualified firms/teams to INSTALL A NEW Fluid Applied Reinforced Roofing (FARR) system over the existing BUR system of approximate 134,000 square foot roof area. The work also includes replacing the atrium clay tile roof underlayment, remove abandoned equipment and replace all the skylights. Also included will be fitting insulation and cover board to the existing metal panels (lower portion of roof over the test bays) and securely fastening to the roof structure.

The Port is committed to providing contracting opportunities to all businesses including local and small, minority, women and veteran owned business.  We recommend that vendors register with the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA).  Once registered, businesses are connected to more bid opportunities with other members of the SCTRCA organization.

Procurement Process

Port San Antonio is a defense base development authority established by the City of San Antonio as authorized under Texas Law. The Port is a separate political subdivision of the State.

The Port may utilize various procurement transactions that are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations and that may be allowable by any applicable funding sources.
